Very cute boots

These boots are very cute - I always get compliments on them. A few things to note the fur lining is not throughout the boot there's some at the top (of course) none on the calf but then some for cushioning for your foot. Also although many people said they run big and you should buy a smaller size I'd have to disagree. I originally bought them a size smaller and ended up having to return them. Cute boots

I love bearpaw boots....great quality at about half the price of Uggs. I ordered these because they are a much shorter pair than my previous pair of bearpaws. The tall pair that I had before was excellent but I had to put them on and take them off frequently which aggravated a strained Achilles tendon.

Quality boots!

I ordered these BEARPAW BOOTS becausse my daughter is partial to purple and not many brands go there in color. So glad I did! definitely worth it

Warm warm warm and comfy comfy comfy is how I would describe this boot. The only reservation I have is that Bearpaws don't come in half sizes (I'm a 8.5) so I got the 9 instead which I feared was a little big it didn't really grip my ankles. But after wearing them they grew true to my foot and I love them! Even though I wanted this same boot in black and could not for the life of me find it in black I've come to embrace these soft colors. I love these slippers and I think they love me.

When I first saw these I told myself that there is no way I am spending that sort of money on a pair of lousy slippers. Well I did anyway through the urging of a friend of mine and I must say that I do not regret it one bit.



This has to be one of the if not the most comfortable pair of this type of foot wear I have ever placed my cute little footsies in. Good grief! "Soft" does not even begin to describe the texture. Do take note that the sole of these are hard which is a requirement I have as I am always having to dash outside and chase one of the dogs down or I run to the store or chasing racoons out of the trash barrels or walking around the yard looking at the stars in the middle of the night and do not want the hassle of changing shoes constantly. These slippers fit my needs perfectly... but it is what is inside that counts: pure bliss!



I am hard on shoes of any sort but these things are extremely well made and should take quite a beating. I will be ordering anther pair for myself and two others for close friends to act as gifts.



I cannot say enough about these things.

Comfy

I really wanted some UGG boots but like many I couldn't afford them. These boots are good for the price. They look great and are very soft (just like the other brand or better in my opinion). They are comfortable except there is a very uncomfortable friction on the back side of my ankle. It is weird and was even painful the first time a wore them. Now I wear them with very plush socks and it is much better. But note that I actually have this issue with almost all shoes so it is unlikely the boots fault ;)I wear a 9-9 1/2 and ordered a nine. My toe hit the very end of the boot and I thought about sending them back for size and discomfort reasons. I am glad that I chose to keep them because they just needed to be broken in a bit. I got chocolate and the color is dark and rich very nice. High quality good support perfect hight(I am 5'10") for me; the shorter ones would look strange on someone this tall( they hit about 3-4" below knee). I would recommend these boots:)More detail ...

Broken Tabs

Although these are the cutest boots I have seen for a long time the leather tabs that hold the bracket for the laces breaks too easily. I bought my first pair put them on once and laced them up and the tab broke. Amazon was wonderful about the exchange however when I received the second pair the same thing happened again. :(

I had to return them both. I would not recommend these boots until they fix that problem with a new design.More detail ...

Love these comfy boots!

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Uggs sweater boots and this seemed to be the closest where I could wear them pulled up or folded down. I've been really happy with these and actually like them better than the Uggs since they actually stay up and don't sag as much as the Uggs do. They're lined with sheepskin inside the foot part so they're very warm and the sole is actually sturdier than I expected. I had read that these shoes run small so since I'm a true 6.5 I got a 7 and it's a perfect fit. 6 would definitely have been too small. There were some pieces of fuzz and threads hanging off the boots when I first got them but I trimmed them and brushed them off and it was fine. They're really cute!!More detail ...

Not as good as Ugg Australia and be careful with the size!

When I bought a pair of these boots I ended up with the wrong size because they come out A LOT smaller than an Ugg Australia Classic or Ultra boot. I would advise anybody considering these boots to BUY TRUE TO SIZE NOT DOWN ONE SIZE.



As for the quality of these boots this is my edited review after wearing them for a bit and I have to say maybe it's partially my leg and foot shape but they don't fit half as snugly and comfortably as Ugg Australia boots. The larger size was too big for me so I can't actually wear any size of these boots comfortable (US7 too small US8 too big!) they may be more suited to folk with wide feet and sturdy ankles.



I am a complete Ugg Australia convert now have two pairs and looking to buy two more. Much as I hate to jump on a bandwagon Ugg Australia boots are something special and these Bearpaw boots while not badly made feel much stiffer and not like a second skin like Ugg Australia boots - not in the same league I'd advise to pay the extra especially if you are of petite/skinny build.

EXCELLENT

I recently got a pair of these boot(ies). I needed warm shoes as I live in Colorado. I have owned many shoes and boots from top of the line brands and none have kept my feet as warm and dry as these. I have had UGGS and these are BETTER! They keep my feet warmer. I went shopping on black Friday when it was literlly 2 degrees outside with the wind whipping making it colder and the snow falling didn't help much. I wore these boots out on that trip without socks (no need for socks with the slipper-like insides) and my feet were the only warm part of my body! It really was amazing and I will never buy any other boot. I wear them constantly and they still look brand new. I could talk about these all night they really are a wonderful product at an excellent price.



I will agree with the other reviewers that they are difficult to get on when they are new but hang in there they will mold to you after a few times of taking them on and off. It is well worth the wait and trouble.More detail ...

Bearpaw is a stylish Ugg alternative at a great price!

Great alternative to Uggs

I just bought a pair of these 10" Dream 405 style from shoe pavilion today for $39.99. I think they are so great and comfortable! I tried on the 160 Uggs ultra short earlier in the day which looks almost the same and guess what? BearPaw Dream is even more comfortable than Uggs' ultra short since ultra short feels a little too tight. Uggs' classic short ($120) is still the most comfortable tho but its style which is more rounded and doesn't have a 2nd line around the edges is a little outta date.



These BearPaw Dreams serve as a great alternative to the new Uggs ultra short. Its shaft is a little taller than Uggs as well which I think is smart because then it looks better with pants tugged in.



Caution: if you wear 1/2 sizes go one size up. Don't expect these comfortable shoes to have bigger rooms inside. I used to wear 6 or 6.5.. but I have to return a pair and get a 7. More detail ...

Good Product

I rarely write reviews but when I was researching this product (actualy the BearPaw 410 10" Eva Boots identical to these minus the extra two inches) the reviews are what helped me make my decision. I thought I'd give others an extra insight and perspective.



I was actually planning to buy the 10" boots but saw that the 12" boots were the exact same price. So I thought hey.. I'll get more bang for my buck (in this case 2 inches!) and bought the 12" instead.



First I want to comment on the sizing. I followed Amazon's general shoe size chart for women's and even measured one of my shoes that fit me perfectly. My shoe sizes sometimes vary but I busted out a ruler to be exact. I was a size 9 according to the chart. The shoes I was measuring from was also a 9. BearPaw and many reviewers suggested getting one size up from your regular show size so I ordered a size 10. In my case that didn't work well for me.



Overall these boots are great material and quality. I really don't have any bad things to say about them. They're extremely comfy... they feel like house slippers and are way cheaper than Uggs! So the only issue I have with them is more of a personal issue.



You see I've got big calves. They aren't fat... but really solid... full of muscle. Whenever I try to do cardio the only area that seems to get toned is my calves. Such a curse. (BTW I measure at 17" all the way around my mid-calf). Anyhow these boots were very tight at the edge. It was like a really tight rubberband around my calf an I'd normally deal with stuff like that but it was very uncomfortable. On the other hand the shoes were too big for my feet by at least an inch to an inch and a half.



It's kind of awkward to wear but I think I'll deal with these issues. I can always wear thicker socks so it's better slightly too big than slightly too small. I'm actually folding down the extra "2 inches" which makes the boots less uncomfortable but I'm hoping that the material will stretch over time to accomodate my enlarged calf and possible my jeans. It's also too tight to squeeze jeans into.



If the boot fit perfectly I'd totally give it 5 stars. It may be a little unfair to dock it a star since everyone's shoe size and calf size can vary widely but I think the company should offer boots with an extended calf (most other brands do for boots). This way girls with big calves or girls who want to tuck in their jeans (or both!) have the room to do so. More detail ...
